Computerized Technology
Not only intuition and old fashioned hard work play a part in development. Computer analysis of engine testing results coupled with extensive race track testing play key roles. The final testing data finds its way onto every exhaust by using the most advanced machines and tooling during production.
Dynamometer testing carried out on the Dynojet Model 150 can show up to a ten percent power increase, and a two-thirds weight reduction over the standard (OEM) exhaust systems.
Hand Crafted Perfection in Metal
Each and every exhaust is meticulously produced by a highly trained craftsman. Form follows function while all components of the exhaust system are flawlessly assembled into one clean, smooth-flowing design using the TIG welding technique exclusively throughout. Great care is taken to integrate the exhaust system technically to fit exactly with each individual motorcycle.
Each header system is precision TIG welded by hand in stainless steel. Standard technology uses the less precise method of MIG wire welding which leaves slag and uneven surfaces inside the exhaust. Crossover tubes are included when needed, and all sections are joined with a high quality spring system. The canister core is stainless, with a choice of titanium or carbon fiber sleeves. Lower quality materials are not an option.
For the serious competitor, the full race system is available with tapered headers for efficient combustion chamber scavenging, and crossover tubes for better drive out of the corners. The headers are designed to focus maximum power at high RPM, the ideal for racing machinery. Racing exhausts are available with titanium elliptical cannisters only. |
